This is a blog dedicated to my Indonesian legal studies which I pursue in the University of Gajah Mada, Law Faculty. I am currently a student at that university and currently full time as a Translator for the International Federation Red Cross (IFRC). I am at my final years of study and this website is aimed for me to understand what i have learn in the past years of my studies on the Indonesian Legal system.
I have understood that there are many problems being faced in the legal system of Indonesia. This website/my blog is intended to assist in understanding of the law. The readers would be from a diverse sense of the public whether it would be people in Indonesia or even overseas. A similar website of my understanding in Law have been published in Indonesian for the Indonesian public. This one is especially intended for the English readers so that legal information about Indonesia is available.
Hopes for the future is that this website can be successful, in a manner that the readers will understand the law from my point of view, from a student, from a citizen, from a normal person living in Indonesia. It would also be great if that analysis of the binding laws and the implementation would be clear from this thread.
My experience is what I write down because I believe that sharing experience can true change lives. I based this blog to be a Knowledge based Legal Information System and the most comprehensive one in Indonesia and the World. This my be an ambitious statement but if we all work hard to reach the goals then we can be successful and reach our goals.
